Kid’s love Teddy Bears

Stuffed, fluffy, cute, cuddly, huggable, lovable – these are just some of the things that come to a kids mind when they see a Großer teddybär. Nearly every kid has a teddy from early age itself and many still cannot part with it later because of the emotional attachment. There is always a connection between a child and his/her teddy bear. A working mother or even a mother who has to do her household work cannot be with her child all the time and Holding onto a Teddy bear makes the child feel safe as they associate with touch and hugging the bear. This toy helps children with emotional development and becomes a part of the baby’s life.

The teddy’s soft touch, happy face and fat stuffed tummy attracts the child to feel safe while holding it . Many times we notice that the Teddy bear becomes a “listening ear “for children. Children may tell all their imaginative stories and fears to their teddy bear and feel they have a friend around. This is a friend whom they can tell all their secrets to and hold and cuddle. Being with their teddy bear evokes a sense of security, peace and safety for children.

Children name their teddy bear and often create their own imaginative world around it. There are many psychological reasons behind this, and one of them being that for a child the teddy is actually more than just a Toy. It is a symbol of comfort for a child and his/her best friend with whom they walk along the path from childhood to being an adult which creates a sense of bonding and security. Many times even after entering into adulthood the bonding between the teddy and its owner becomes so strong that it is never parted with.
